Vene.live is a project that aims to transform the live music scene in Kosovo by empowering live music venues and building a collaborative platform for artists, managers, and the public.
Supported and recognized by the European LiveMX project, this initiative focuses on addressing financial, technical, and organizational challenges with the goal of creating a sustainable and modern music scene through a functional community platform that facilitates collaboration between live music venues.
It offers new opportunities for developing managerial, technical, and artistic capacities, encourages the exchange of experiences and best practices, and promotes direct community engagement through projects and events that connect artists with the audience in real-time—enhancing the cultural and social impact of live music in Kosovo and beyond.
The motivation for this project arises from the fact that Kosovo has never had an organized community of live music venues. This lack of organization has created numerous problems that threaten the very existence of such enterprises, further exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, such organization is essential to help overcome challenges and build a more sustainable future for live music in the country.
